Buildpoint puts forward building projects that need backing. Some are private developments. Some are community projects. Either way, the model is the same: the project is scoped, funds are raised, and Buildpoint arranges the plans, permits and management from start to finish.
How It Works
Three steps, whether the project is a private development or a community upgrade.
1. Buildpoint Puts Up a Project
Each project is listed here with its scope, images and what the funds will cover. You can see exactly what you are backing before you commit anything.
2. Funds Are Raised
Community projects raise funds through a public fundraising campaign you can contribute to directly from this page. Private projects are funded through one of our partnership models below.
3. Buildpoint Delivers
Buildpoint arranges the plans, permits and approvals, then manages the whole project through to completion. Progress is posted back to this page so backers can see where things are at.

Quba Mosque Lighting Upgrade
A lighting upgrade for Quba Mosque. Buildpoint is coordinating the design, documentation and delivery of the works, with the community raising the funds to make it happen.
Every contribution goes towards the upgrade. Progress photos and updates will be posted here as the work moves ahead.
Private Partnership Models
For private developments, Buildpoint works under one of three partnership structures. Each one sets out clearly who contributes what and how returns are shared.
Joint Venture
You provide the land. Buildpoint manages the development from design through to completion. Profits are shared under a profit-sharing agreement at settlement, and you can choose to retain part of the finished product.
Investment Partnership
You contribute funds to the project. Buildpoint manages the development end to end. Your share of profits is set out in an investment partnership agreement, with the option to take part of the finished product instead if you prefer.
Development Partnership
You keep ownership of the land throughout. Buildpoint manages the whole development for an agreed fee, with a bonus structure if targets are exceeded. You decide whether to keep or sell the finished product.
